Socialist Education

Lefty US law professors would learn a lot about socialism by taking their next health problem to the Brit National Health Service.

All Brits have a right to "free" (paid by taxes) health care. But for some inexplicable reason, the care they get is bad. During the current election campaign, after 8 years of throwing money at the NHS, and failing to improve it, Blair fights back.

The Prime Minister concentrated on Labour's pledges to reduce waiting times for breast, bowel and cervical cancer patients, as he toured hospitals across the country.

He said Labour would ensure that, by 2008, in breast cancer cases, every woman would be seen by a consultant within two weeks of being referred by a GP. This would also apply to patients with suspected bowel cancer.
