MSM Gives Qana The Swift Treatment

The news agencies that ran Hezbollah's propaganda from Qana have circled the wagons, just as they did when trying to suppress the Swifties. They'll be just as successful.

Their statement (my emphasis):
Photographers from The Associated Press, Reuters and Agence France-Presse all covered rescue operations Sunday in Qana, where 56 Lebanese were killed. Many of their photos depicted rescue workers carrying dead children.

The AP said information from its photo editors showed the events were not staged, and that the time stamps could be misleading for several reasons, including that web sites can use such stamps to show when pictures are posted, not taken.
This is a ridiculous defense - the same as claiming the Swifties were "discredited" without offering any facts.

Here are some facts.

1. Timing

Saying their published timestamps can be wrong doesn't mean they were wrong. It would be easy for Reuters, AP and AFP to prove they're right by publishing the EXIF times for their images. They've haven't, so they're probably lying.

2. Body Count

LGF noted yesterday:
NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S.-based rights watchdog Human Rights Watch on Wednesday put the death toll from an Israeli air strike at the Lebanese village of Qana at 28 and 13 missing, below the official Lebanese figure of 54 dead.
Yet today AP reports on Fox:
An Israeli military inquiry on the bombing of a building in the south Lebanese village of Qana that killed 56 civilians admitted a mistake but charged that Hezbollah guerrillas used civilians as shields for their rocket attacks.
3. Showing The Dead

We never saw pictures of the dead from 9/11 and 7/7, the images of the soon-to-be-dead WTC jumpers were suppressed for four years, and the Brit MSM never published the horrific images of people murdered by the IRA.

But Reuters, AP and AFP now deluge us with images of dead babies.

4. Staging

The dead being displayed like trophies - the baby held up by its neck.

5. No Fathers

If my house was bombed and I survived, I'd be digging for my family immediately - that would be starting 1 PM. When the photographers arrived after dawn, they would have met these men - probably 10 for this number of kids - dirty, exhausted and mad as hell. Great anti-Israel material. But there are no pictures.

It's possible the men were all killed, but the MSM tells us the dead were all women and kids. So where are the men?

As with the Swift Boat Veterans' story,
the blogosphere - and EU Referendum in particular - has got the truth across. With both the MSM has defended its client (Kerry, Hezbollah) with unsupported denials.

That doesn't work anymore.
